 Πολιτιστική δράση "Η Αντίπαρος γεμίζει ποίηση"

Αν η ομορφιά μπορεί να σώσει τον κόσμο,
η ποίηση μπορεί να τον ομορφύνει.

Με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Ποίησης, ας πλησιάσουμε
ο ένας τον άλλον μέσα από το μοίρασμα των στίχων.
 

Ας ζήσουμε αυτή τη συνθήκη γύρω μας, στον δρόμο,
στον τοίχο, στο μυαλό μας.
 

Ας κάνουμε έναν «ελιγμό ευτυχίας» ταξιδεύοντας
μέσα στις λέξεις των ποιητών.
 

Ας σταθούμε μπροστά σε ένα ποίημα, κρεμασμένο σε κοινή θέα.
 

Ας λυτρωθούμε από την τέχνη του λόγου, μέσα από τη συλλογή ποιημάτων που θα γεμίσουν την Αντίπαρο.

 

 

"Αντλώντας έμπνευση από την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Ποίησης, σκεφτήκαμε να βρούμε έναν τρόπο να την τιμήσουμε με το να αναρτήσουμε σε πολλά σημεία του χωριού ποιήματα. Χρησιμοποιήσαμε παλιά ξύλα, ή άλλα που είχαν άλλη χρήση και τα βάψαμε. Γράψαμε σε αυτά πάνω από 50 ποιήματα και τα σκορπίσαμε στο χωριό για μια εβδομάδα ώστε όλοι να έχουν τη δυνατότητα να τα διαβάσουν σε κάποιο πέρασμά τους ή στη βόλτα τους. Ευχόμαστε η δράση αυτή να μεταδώσει λίγη από τη μαγεία της ποίησης στο νησί μας."

Spring has yet to arrive, but Antiparos is already in full poetic bloom.

If beauty is what can save the world,
then poetry is what can give it that beauty.
This year, let’s celebrate “World Poetry Day” by coming closer together and sharing some special lines and verses, penned by poets from Greece and around the world, through the ages.
Let’s experience life as it appears around us,
as we find it on the streets, on walls, in our minds.
Let’s veer off our present course and make a swerve towards bliss by travelling inside the words of poets.
Let’s stop for a second and stand before a poem,
one posted in full public view.
Let’s find freedom through the art of the written word, through a collection of poems that will fill Antiparos and will help make it blossom early.

This special event is organized and presented by "Antiparos En Plo".

"Inspired by World Poetry Day, we thought we’d try to find a way to honour that special occasion, and came up with the idea of posting poems in many spots around the village. To create the signs needed, we first collected old pieces or sheets of wood – along with others that we repurposed – and hand-painted them. After they had dried, we wrote more than 50 poems on them by hand, and scattered them throughout the village when they were done. The poems will be on display for a week, so that everyone can have the opportunity to read them while passing by or out for a stroll. We sincerely do hope that this event will help lend our island a little bit of the magic that poetry has to offer."
