Ο σύλλογος "Αντίπαρος Εν Πλω" συγχαίρει το Μαροκινό αθλητή Μοχάμεντ Σαούτε (Simo Zak), μέλος του "Αντίπαρος Εν Πλω", για την εντυπωσιακή επίδοσή του με τη φανέλα του συλλόγου στον πρόσφατο αγώνα 24 ωρών στα πλαίσια του 10ου Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Υπερμαραθωνίου ("Dayrunners") , όπου τερμάτισε στην πρώτη θέση με 247χλμ, επίδοση που αποτελεί την καλύτερη παγκοσμίως για το 2015 και τη δεύτερη στην ιστορία του Φεστιβάλ (http://goo.gl/voaISF).

Το παράδειγμα του αθλητή, που τιμάει την Πάρο και την Αντίπαρο με τις συμμετοχές και τις διακρίσεις του σε πλήθος αγώνων τα τελευταία χρόνια αποτελεί πρότυπο για τους νέους των δύο νησιών και οφείλει να προβληματίσει την Πολιτεία για τη δυσπιστία με τη οποία τον αντιμετωπίζει, καθώς δεν του έχει ακόμα διασφαλίσει τη μόνιμη παραμονή του στη χώρα. Ευχόμαστε, με αφορμή αυτή τη διάκριση, να υπάρξει ενδιαφέρον από τους εμπλεκόμενους φορείς για λύση στο παραπάνω μακροχρόνιο πρόβλημα.

Ο σύλλογος "Αντίπαρος Εν Πλω" σκοπεύει να καταθέσει σχετικό αίτημα στις αρμόδιες υπηρεσίες και καλεί όποιον ενδιαφερόμενο επιθυμεί να συμπράξει να έρθει σε επικοινωνία μαζί μας.

The ‘Antiparos En Plo’ Society would like to congratulate Moroccan athlete Mohamed Saoute (simo zak) also happens to be a member of ‘Antiparos En Plo’—for his outstanding performance at the recent 24-hour running race held within the framework of the 10th International ‘Dayrunners’
Ultramarathon Festival. Sporting the colours of our Society, he finished the endurance event in first place, clocking a total distance of 247km in 24 hours, and thus setting the year’s best mark in the world (and the second-best ever in the history of the Festival event (http://goo.gl/voaISF)).

The example set by this athlete, who has been honouring both Paros and Antiparos through his participation in and distinctions gained at an array and multitude of races over the past few years, serves as a model for young people on our two islands; ideally, it should also generate interest among the state authorities, which have viewed his case with distrust and have yet to secure for him permanent residency in our country. It is our hope that on account of this—his latest—distinction, the state authorities involved will begin to show more interest, aimed at finding a solution to his longstanding problem mentioned above.

The ‘Antiparos En Plo’ Society plans to submit a related petition to the competent authorities, and would like to invite all those interested in participating in and supporting this effort to contact us directly.
